Final Project

I am almost done!! I have all my designs made, now I am just trying to compose this cover letter to the bookstore. Not really sure on the format it should be, but I will figure something out. For this project I had a lot of fun designing everything. I downloaded a few photoshop brushes which were fun to experiment with. Hopefully I get a good grade because otherwise this will be the only B I get this semester! So ready to be done and graduate though. It is so close.

Book Assignment

Well I finished my book on the 20th of April and just shipped out today. I am excited to see it. Working on the promotions part has been pretty fun, probably my favorite assignment so far. So ready for school to be done though and to graduate!

Book Assignment

I think the book assignment could be really good for our portfolio if we actually design it from scratch. Only thing that worries me is time. To make a legit well-designed book, we need more then 2-3 weeks I personally think. Especially since we cant devote all our time to just the book. I am looking forward to getting started on it though. I leave for Florida in the A.M. to see my brother so lots of time will be put in it while on the plane :)

Spring Break

Just got back from a fabulous spring break in Miami. We stayed right on the beach. Our plane got delayed yesterday so we didnt get back till 11 p.m. I am exhausted, but the trip was worth it. Unfortunately, not alot of time to mock up two brochures.

I like working with typography so Problem 4 is kinda fun as well. Looking forward to working on the final pieces.

I thoroughly enjoyed the typography assignment of problem 3. Fonts can be so expressive and its crazy how many different fonts are out there for you to download. Adding design to the business cards was fun, had a chance to be creative.

I am not sure how to put my indesign work on here. I have to convert it to a jpg and I dont think it allows me to do that. Anyone know how to do it?
